Hello...

I've created a custom class, added it to contentstructuremenu.ini.append.php and to menu.ini.append.php but it doesn't show... Am I missing something?

Ivan,

probably you have missed something.

Seems to be overriding issue.

Check the configaration priority order

setting=>siteaccesssetting=>oveeride

If you have made chages to configuarion files in root settings directory, is will be overriden by siteaccesssetting followed by override config files.

So make sure that you do configuarion settigs is done in siteaccesssetting.(for contentstructuremenu.ini.append.php and to menu.ini.append.php)

Second thing is

for insctace , in contentstructuremenu.ini.append.php, if you have seeting like

[TreeMenu]

ShowClasses[]
ShowClasses[]=folder

that means , all the setting with respect to contentstructuremenu.ini.append.php in extensions , will be considered .If you have any shows classes array in extensions contentstructuremenu.ini.append.php, it will be also added.

Otherwise ,if the configuration like as follows

[TreeMenu]

ShowClasses[]=folder

Only this configuarion files will be considred ,bez it will not take any previous array values.(since u didn't put ShowClasses[],only class folder will be der)

So please check both conditions.
