Hi, I have created a folder and some articles inside it.
Is it possible to have the direct link to a specific child (an article...) of this folder in the top main menu?

Thanks for every suggestion.

Bye

I thinks you can make easy by created your own menu in your pagelayout.tpl directly or in an other template and include it with the {include} operator like

{include uri='design:mymenu.tpl'}

where you want
your menu will look like this :

<ul>
<li>{def $ch=fetch('content','node',hash(node_id,id))}<a href={$nod.url_alias|ezurl()}>{$nod.name}{undef $nod}</a></li>
<li>{def $ch=fetch('content','node',hash(node_id,id))}<a href={$nod.url_alias|ezurl()}>{$nod.name}{undef $nod}</a></li>

<li>{def $ch=fetch('content','node',hash(node_id,id))}<a href={$nod.url_alias|ezurl()}>{$nod.name}{undef $nod}</a></li>
<li>{def $ch=fetch('content','node',hash(node_id,id))}<a href={$nod.url_alias|ezurl()}>{$nod.name}{undef $nod}</a></li>
.....
.....
</ul>

the id in the fetch function is the identifier of the noeud that you want to make a link.
i thinks this can help you.

Or, if you use ezwebin/ezflow, you should be able to create a link object at the root level (so it shows up in the top menu, note: left menu doesn't currently support this: #013086), where you link to the article.

Or you can use multiple node location so the article is placed at root level and the news folder or wherever you have placed it. ( you need to 1: do this from admin 2: edit the menu.ini settings so that articles show up in top menu ).
