Import to XML text

Harry Oosterveen	Thursday 31 July 2003 1:37:04 am As far as I could find out from the source code, text that you enter is converted to XML text using the eZSimplifiedXMLInput. However, this works only when text is entered via the forms in the admin backend, as text is read from the http post variables. Has anybody created a class or function that can be used to convert (html formatted or plain) text to XML text?

How do you go about telling eZPublish to convert from HTML ?
