How to run an event after an order has been confirmed

However, when I use the workflow in conjunction with the shop\|confirmorder\|before trigger, everything works fine. The problem is that the event uses data from the order, so I really can't run it unless the order has been confirmed. Anyone know of a way around this? Willie mentioned something about a hack in a previous post, but didn't say anything about how this was accomplished. Thanks in advance ! Hi,
