Hi,
i am about to work in a project where we need to use the rss provided by BBC or CNN to feed our website by the latest news.

I am totaly new to this field , so i don't know how to be able to retrive the data, and to show what i want to show as a marque or so in my website.
So i need to knwo how to classify the data of the rss as title of news and its description, and how to show only things i want to show.
The RSS of BBC i want to use is at
http://news.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/front_page/rss.xml

Do any one have idea baout it ?
IT is very important for me to do it , so if any one have any idea baout how to create something that helps , please contact
Thanks
John

I have not tested the ezrssfeed extension but it seems to fit well with you needs:

Hello,
Thanks a lot for your help
and it actually looks it is terrefic and the thing i am searching for. but i faced a small problem as follows:
I tried the contribution on 3.7.2 , 3.6.4 then 3.5.7 . all gaveme the same thing
i tried it on windows machine/localhost, and on linux server. all the same

When i installed the rssfeed:
1- i uploaded the fiels,
2- entered the setup extension field and activated them

I expected to see the toolbar as you said in thereadme file but nothing was showen any where

Also , I tried the expamples and used the provided rss links and the follwoing bbc rss feed,http://news.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/front_page/rss.xml, but no response, it was ending in giving me

   <table><tr>
         <th align="left">Attribute</th>
         <th align="left">Type</th>
          <th align="left">Value</th>
        </tr>
</table>

and it showes no more data from the rss feed
so i am sure it is not a matter of EZ version i use, but there should be something i did wrong installing the rssfeed reader

Do you have any idea of how to solve this issue ?
what wrong thing did i do ?
Looking forward to hearing back
Thanks
John
