According law i have to get permition from user to write emails with advetisements to him.
For this, i want to change class User, by adding question "Do you want to get more info?" with two pssible anwers "yes" and "no".
Possible answers should be displayed in registration page as radio buttons.

I do not understand, which datatype i should use?

{set-block scope=root variable=cache_ttl}0{/set-block}

Selection.
Or you can also use enum and use it as option button, but the enum is slower.

but selection is displayed as combobox. And i need radio button and only for this case.
Should i override template?

{set-block scope=root variable=cache_ttl}0{/set-block}

Can't you choose if selection should be displayed as drop-down or radio buttons?

Try the option datatype, I use it as well in my contact form and it has radio buttons.

i'm using ez 3.6.1.

Selection is displayed as combobox. And it is not possible to choow way of displaying.

option do not allow to enter anything except name in admininstration page.

I found that it is possible to choose way of displaying in Enum class. But this type is deprecated. Also i do not find way to display both: name and value of option.

Another example, I need to meke folloving:
choose your zodiac:
Option name: Cancer
Option value: images/zodiac-cancer.gif

Problem, that i can get only word "Cancer", but no way to get name of image.
With english it's no problem, but in lithuanian zodiac names has utf-8 symbols, which i cannot use for filenames.

{set-block scope=root variable=cache_ttl}0{/set-block}
