I want to export whole ez publish 4.2 content, including linked files, images, text etc... Is it possible to do so?

I could only export class using package. Is there a way to export the whole website content?

Some help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Viraj

You can export classes via the package system. About content objects, you can try with eZXMLExport.

Is it possible to use ezcsvexport.php and ezcsvimport.php in bin/php/ ? I followed the instructions of http://www.adn741.net/index.php/Import_export_de_contenu but didn't managed to use the ezcsvimport.php to import. Can someone please give me some explanation about the ezcsvimport parameters like class_identifier. Which one does it refer to?

Using csv import and export is not good enough to backup/restore eZP, I'm afarid. Some datatypes will loose some information, and a lot other things will be left out, too (eg. object states or multiple-location assignments).

The proper way to export content is, as Jerome said, via the packaging system.

Or you can do a backup of the database + a zip of var/storage and var/siteaccess/storage directories
