Am I correct in thinking that the 3.5.1 Online Editor (and/or the underlying eZXMLText) doesn't support greater than > and less than < symbols? Content fails to save properly when I include these in an XMLText field.

it is a problem of the xml text field, it thinks, these are tags. You can put in the html version but on next editing the same thing happens.
Should be fixed in 3.5.1:

I have a brand new install of 3.5.1 with the latest and greatest Online Editor, and this is still broken.

Anybody else have the same issue with 3.5.1?

Actually it fails with > and < symbols, not < >.

Shouldn't the Online Editor convert < and > angle brackets automatically to lt & gt xhtml?
