Hi You can override all templates. You can for example override it in your siteaccess (or in an extension). Create a similar directory-structure (eg design/yousiteaccess/templates/notification/handler/ezsubtree/view/plain.tpl). Remember to clear your cache. Since this is an template that is used in the notification cronjob, you need to specify the siteaccess when running the cronjob. You can do it like this:
./runcronjobs -s yoursiteaccess
