Greetings

I wanto to make a rebate(cash back) site based on EzPublish. Basicaly what i want to do is to have links(+some description) on my site to multiple online shops. Those links will contain unique "id" numbers for each user logged in.

Before the users get the rebate they must answer some questions and based on the result they get(or not) the rebate(so this part would include some business logic).

Im an experienced PHP developer, but im new with EzPublish. I have read quite a lot about it, but i cannot figure out how the things work here and how should i design the solution.

What i want to do is to design a database tables and insert/update those based on the inputs from users(business logic). I belive for this i have to design a module? (are there any exemples that i can base my work on). How do Datatypes fit into all of this?

Best regards
Goran

Goran,

That sounds like an interesting idea :)

You might want to take a look at the survey extension, you might be able to adapt it to your needs and save you some time.

You can see examples of it in action here:

http://ez.no/survey/view/1

The source code is available the eZ systems : extension : subversion repository.
