Change user ID?

So I will create 500 unic, so no rellay readable, ID : Xw2Mpk The idea is to allow users to use there own prefered ID like everybody has. The new users who will registered will do it the normal way which the checking for already existing ID + PASS. I was asking to myself if that control can't be use while ID changes. Laurent
