Hi folks,

Struggling with a problem and cant find my way out.

When I relate an object to an article, the object is placed in section 0, even though the article itself resides in section 4.

Why does all related objects fall in to section 0? Is it possible to change? I am creating a multi-site solution using a single db. So i would really want to put the related objects in the same section as the article itself.

Also, I want to put the related object under the node of the article. Any ideas on that?

All suggestions greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,
Nicklas Lundgren

See RelationAssignmentSettings in content.ini. I don't think this can help you put new related objects under the node you are editing, though.

Thanks for the reply, Gunnstein!

However, it doesn´t resolve my main problem:
Why does all related objects automatically fall into section 0??

For example, when I create a new article and relate an image to the article, the image gets assigned section 0. Even though the article itself is in section 4.

This leads to severe problems concerning access policys, since I work with multiple sites in one installation. I cant have all related objects in the same section.

Please help!

Hi Nicklas,

I think, I had this problem you may read bug report here

http://ez.no/community/bugs/access_permission_problem_at_kernel_content_download_php

After some research, I knew that it is possible to solve it, using the setting mentioned above , so if you confirm that it doesn't solve the main problem, it seems like this is a matter to work on

Would be interesting to hear others about it
