I'd like to know the methods people have found most effective for monitoring their ezpublish sites. In eZ publish version 2.x there was an inbuilt /status page with loaded the number 42 from the database. This was great in that it didn't create any load on the server and checked the database activity as well. Has anyone created any similiar function for version 3?

We are always interested in hearing from experienced eZ PHP programmers and eZ template designers interested in contract work.

Hi Brendan,

/ezinfo/is_alive

Returns "eZ publish is alive" if it made a successful connection to the database.
