<quote> tag for the forum

In my opinion this forum lacks at least one simple tag, that is <b><quote></b> tag, with a proper style corresponding to it. Each of the tags already available has its good use, quotes are not exactly one of them.

Or is there a reason behind it?

Just a thought.
