Did you try simply using UTF-8 (not sure if that covers for RTL though but it should at the very least display the correct characters)?

Hi Gabriel,

thanks for reply and you are absoloutly correct , using unicode will solve the characters issue, But not the Direction,

Hi,

we are currently deploying a RTL frontend to a website... this doesn't look that hard.

Though it is complicated/impossible entering the data in the backend since this is LTR driven and can't be turned around that easy.

We have created a special module to enter serialized RTL content.

If other people have found better ways to do it let me know....

Hi Björn,
Could you tell us more, I have a similar request for Arabic languages.
Main language will be english and admin will be done on an english (or other RTL language).
From what you said, it will be possible to create a set of template to allow people in charge of translating into arabic to do it on the 'portal' layout.
Could you tell us more about or share some samples?
Thanks
