I think we could probably do with an FAQ for the forums, covering things like removing index.php from URLs, etc. I was kind of thinking it could be a link to a page on eZPedia.org, perhaps. Any thoughts? A link in the intro paragraph on http://ez.no/community/forum would be the way to go, I think.

Well ...

And please simply remember the forums are not repositories for long term storage of acquired knowledge, threads fade away over time ...

http://ezpedia.org is the much better repository for summaries of this information. Lest it be lost and history repeated ... (it's happened before and could happen again)

Personally, I want 'eZpedia' to be listed on ez.no/community under the heading at the <i>top</i> of the page, 'Developer Zone'!

We may need to create an issue enhancement regarding ez.no asking for this addition in order to build the momentum and support needed to make this progress for everyone; We won't know until we try..

I second this. There's quite an bit of repeating questions of forums, and summing them up in form of Frequently Asked Questions sounds promising. And linking to the FAQ, will surely help it to get noticed.

I agree with kracker's suggestion - a link in the "community" dropdown would be very useful. I have filed an enhancement request here: http://issues.ez.no/IssueView.php?Id=11041

I second that. Beginner-friendly information is scarce and hard to find. eZpedia should be represented both in Community submenu and _prominently_ on the community page. Please everyone go, log in to tracker and vote on enhancement issue linked above to add some measurable pressure.
