Workflow Publish/Unpublish Triggers Don't Work

Willie Seabrook	Tuesday 26 August 2003 4:18:31 pm Hi, I've been trying to get the workflows to work for days now to no avail. I'm using 3.1-1 Revision: 2703. Firstly, the multiplexer doesn't work - I just get an error - and that means I can't specify when or where workflows get executed, ie its everywhere or nowwhere. Secondly, only some workflows work in some places. I can get the Hello User and Approve workflow to work off the content "read" trigger but I can't get any workflow to go off content "publish" or content "unpublish" trigger. Whats up with this? I've asked on the forums to no avail! Am I being stupid or is this version of ez publish not really workflow capable? Do I need to upgrade? (I was going to and redo everything but the only version to upgrade to is a beta) Regards, Willie
Willie Seabrook	Wednesday 27 August 2003 2:11:23 am Still having the same problems. The "publish before" and "publish after" triggers simply aren't working - I've checked with debug. I'm desperate here... on a very strict timeline. If anyone is keen to try and work through it with me my email address is willie.seabrook@levity.co.nz. Will feed you info as I learn it. Willie Seabrook	Wednesday 27 August 2003 2:13:25 am I've also tried upgrading to 3.2beta1 with the same result - the multiplexer and the "publish before" and "publish after" triggers all still don't work.

Willie Seabrook	Wednesday 27 August 2003 3:11:54 pm Hi Jo! Thanks for the fix - Its been driving me crazy!!! Does it fix both the issues though? 1. The "publish - before" and "publish - after" triggers not working 2. The multiplexer giving an error. Or were they one and the same thing? What file was the bug in - so I don't have to do a complete update? I understand I can get that from svn now? Regards, Willie

If you still have any problems, please e-mail me directly at: jhe at ez.no The fix is done in the ezmultiplexertype.php located in kernel/classes/workflowtypes/event/ezmultiplexer You can use this file directly in both version 3.1 and 3.2 beta (if you also download the template you can even use it in 3.0) svn is unfortunatly down today and I don't think it is comming up again before tomorrow.
