What si wrong with installer

Balazs Halasy	Thursday 18 March 2004 6:11:39 am Hi, the installers are for testing purposes only. There are several issues/reasons for not using these in a production environment. Security issues, speed/performance issues, upgrade issues, etc. Feel free to develop on an "installer/bundle" site. This is not a problem. When finished, you could simply install eZ publish the proper way (see http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/installation/normal_installation) and do the following: - Copy over your templates/config files/etc. - Export the database from the bundle/installer version - Import the database to your production environment Balazs

Hi, the installers are for testing purposes only. There are several issues/reasons for not using these in a production environment.
