Webshop. Manufacturers and categories. How to organize the structure and navigation?
Hello, guys!
Please tell me how to correctly implement the output of a list of categories, for example, in the left column on a page containing manufacturers? If the folder with manufacturers (content class folder manufacturers) is level 1, the folder - manufacturer (content class manufacturer) is the second level, and the product (content class product) is the third level.
There are about 20 categories.
- Mainpage[Landing Page]
- Products & Manufacturers[Manufacturers Folder]
- Manufacturer 1[Manufacturer]
- Product 1[Product]
- Product 2[Product]
- Product 3[Product]
- Manufacturer 2[Manufacturer]
- Manufacturer 3[Manufacturer]
- Manufacturer 4[Manufacturer]
There are about 20 categories.
The product has a category attribute, if you add it, it is a shop category in the content class settings.
However, if you go to the Shop section, then on the left we will see Product Categories. However, there is no option to have categories translated into several languages and it is unclear how to specify two categories when adding a product, if by some criteria the product can be in both categories.
