I moved my site location from noname.com/ez36 up to just noname.com/ and everything seemed to work fine.

However when I attempt to view /user/register I receive the dreaded:
Error kernel (3)
Object is unavailable

None of my templates are loaded. On the admin siteaccess /user/register continues to work as expected. Any idea what is causing this would be most helpful. The debug output I receive is useless.

Have you tried remove all files from dirs var/cache and var/(site)/cache? If you using php accelerator try clear cache too. Check permissions to settings, var, design dirs.

Hi Luke,
I've isolated the problem. All my directory permissions where fine but thank you for the suggestion.

The problem arrises from the fact that a new object is created whenever a user visits /user/register. Occasionally I will go to "My Account" as the admin and clear out some of these unused "New User" objects. Unfortunatly if someone has gone to /user/register before and I clear out the "New User" object that was created they will receive the object not found error. Obviously there is nothing incorrect about this behaviour but I do not like the idea of letting the New User objects accumulate indefinatley.

Is there anyway to clear these objects without creating this problem?

Thanks.

Have had the same problem with a eZ 3.9.2, and emptying cookies from browser solves it.

I've just had the same problem with eZ 3.10 and couldn't figure the hell out of this. Thanks a lot for your solution, Kenneth !
