Hi all!
I just checked the appendix C that lists all datatypes, and found the following description for the datatype "identifier":
This datatype can be used for classificatin of object. Example: You can in the template language "fetch all objects with identifier 'recepies'".
After adding this datatype to a content class, all I get is an autonumber that increases as more objects are added.
Nowhere do I find the promised facilities for using this class to identify/filter my objects. I have checked the documentation, and also looked in the forums.
Now, is there something wrong with my head, or is the description in the appendix simply misguiding?
Please respond. I also hope the documentation will be updated accordingly. TIA.

Sorry. I that was a mistake (by me) in the documentation. The identifier creates an unique id for the object.
Documentation is updated now.

Thanks, Kristian!
Do you plan to add the new datatypes to the documentation any time soon?
I miss multioption, inisetting, package, selection, option and range option. Also, having the type "Subtree subscription" explained would be swell.
