Hello,
I am trying ezpublish. The system is now sending admin emails, when new user is registered, the click to activate account.
But the tip a friend feature is not working with the demo site.
I am using smtp connection, and maybe the tip a friend try to send emails using another username or "from" header.
I guess this behaviour is prohibited at my isp.
But i tried to send using the configured system email account and it did not send also.
What can I do?
thanks
Andre Felipe
Ps: Merry Christmas !

Hello,
Many thanks for your hint.
I tested with sendmail and tip a frient works, because the connection is from localhost.
Unfortunately, the return-path header remains fixed and to an hosting admin account. I would like to know if there is a way to ezpublish pass along the desired site account to set the return path (-f address option).
The smtp connection sets the return path to the account used for connection, but this not work for the tip a friend relaying behaviour.
Many thanks.
Andre Felipe

I have allready made a fix for this problem. And I hope I will commit the fix to 3.5.1 and 3.4 repositories on monday. Also I will make a blog entry about this.
