something terribly wrong with EZ Cache

- 1st problem

When I create new templates, they cannot be loaded not even after I clear the caches. Only when I explicitly delete the cache folder, they are loaded O.K.
But with TemplateCompile=enabled even that can't help; whatever I do the new templtes are not loaded.

-2nd problem

When I change some lines in my translation files, the changes are not displayed, not even after clearing cache, not even after deleting the cache folder.

P.S: It's not a problem with my filesystem permissions, since I tried even putting them all to 777.

Could anyone have some attention to this please.

Did you use "clear all caches"?

If you delete the cache directory contents... does ez create new files there?

Is this from a "standard" installation or did you change some ini's. There are some ini values, that tell ezPublish, where it should store the "data" (i think, there is "VarDir" and "CacheDir"... check your site.ini.append.* files). It's important, that the settings are the same for your admin and your user site.

Just some quick thoughts, maybe they'll help you. I too had some problems with the cache, but "Clear all Caches" allways helped, though it's not an elegant or efficient way to work.

- Yes I used the "clear ll caches"

- after I delete the cache directory, EZ recreates it

- I used the standard instalation, I only modified site.ini in siteacces dir

- VarDir is the same for admin and user site

- CacheDir is set in original site.ini by default, and I didn't set it in siteacces.

According to this, everything should work, but it doesn't... ???
