Hi everybody !
I'm setting up a rss export using the admin interface, all is ok, but I want to limit the <description> field to display n characters.
Did someone know how to do this ?

Add a parameter to attribute_view_gui and use shorten.
attribute_view_gui templaters are content/view/datatype/<i>exampletype.tpl</i>
<i>shorten</i> allows you to limit the length of a string

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your help, but I don't understand how to do this.
Moreover, I don't have any content/view/datatype/exampletype.tpl in base or standard design, and any "homemade" template to display this rss because I'have done all the configuration with the administration interface.
