Role question

Jan Bengia	Tuesday 02 August 2005 2:07:45 pm Hi, I create an editor-user. I assign him (or the user-group) my "editor"-role. This role allows all operations on the content-module. If I assign the "editor"-role with restrictions to the standard section the editor-user is not able to see the content tree in his admin interface. Nor can he edit an item. Even if I assign him all aviable sections he cant see the content tree. Why that? The editor should excluded from certain sections but should see the content tree ... thanks! Jan

The documentation helped only a little bit - so can't anyone explain the described issue? (Or give me a hint where to read something about this?) thanks! Jan

Sorry if the "role question" is just to stupid or something. But I really want to learn more about the role-system in eZ. The documentation helped only a little bit - so can't anyone explain the described issue?
