Hi !

I think it's a little newbie question, but ... i don't know how to set up the access of one of my section.

I'm a beginner with EzPublish, but i'm doing tutorials to learn.

I have created a folder, assign a section to that folder. No problem.
If i'm not logged in, i don't have any access to my folder, it's logical.

So, i have done what the tutoial said to me :

   1. Click on the "Setup" tab.
   2. Click on "Roles and Policies" menu item.
   3. Chose the "Anonymous" role.
   4. In the dropdown menu on the bottom of the page: select "section".
   5. Click "Assign with limitation".
   6. Set the radio button to the "News section", and press OK.
   7. Set the radio button to the "Anonymous users", and press OK.

But ... it's not working.
An anonymous guest don't have access to my section.
The folder isn't dsiplayed on the main page too ...

Why ? Can you help me please :)

Thank you !

Hi Franck

I think you need to edit the anonymous rols. Just select the anonymous role (as before) and click on the edit button (in the upper half of this page). Then click on the edit icon (the pencil) behind the content read role (usually the first line). Select both the standard and the new section and click on ok. Click on ok again to safe the chnages to the anonymous role.
That should be it.
