I created a watermarked image using a combination of the image, imagefile and texttoimage opererators. The quality of the output PNG is great, but the filesize is too big.Is there any way to convert the image object to another format (i.e to JPG using the $image.imagepath value?)

What do you use of "Image conversion system" ? ImageMagic or GD ?

Perhaps you could also share the code you used for watermarking - sounds like a good idea :-)
