Hi,

Searcdhed and searched this one, but no joy.

I created a new content class called "members" so that when I click on this list of members it displays in a certain way.
This is kind of working as it renders correctly, however, ot also has a header and footer in the document which I can't seem to override.

At the top is says:

Default object view. Click to create a custom template, Node ID: 90, Object ID: 89

Linking to: http://removed.com/ezpub/index.php/corporate/setup/templateview/node/view/full.tpl
At the bottome it has buttons that have edit or preview or remove or bookmark or notify options:

No matter what I do, I can't get rid of this.

Any ideas.

Thanks

You seem to have created a new override for the line view of the members class. This is used when you are displaying a list of items, such as your member list. The full view is what is used to display the main item, which may or may not show a list of items within it (see the "show children" function on the Folder class).

You will need to create a new template to control the "full" view of the class which contains your members. If this is a folder, it should have worked correctly by default, but it sounds like it is something custom.

From the setup screen/templates, try selecting the standard template "node/view/full.tpl" and creating a new override. Select your siteaccess, tell the template which class to override (the class of the parent of your Members) and then select "copy of default" or whichever option is more appropriate.

Once this is done, edit the template that it has created for you. This will make sure that the overrides are correct and that everything is set up properly.

The Default Object View message should only appear when no override is in place for the Full view of the object.
