Redirecting

For some reason, whenever I address data in the admin section, I am frequently being redirected:
* Removing content (_admin/content/edit/83/1), redirecting to _admin/content/removeeditversion
* Confirming removal (_admin/content/removeeditversion), redirecting to _admin/member
* Creating data (_admin/content/action), redirecting to _admin/content/edit/83/1
* Storing new data (_admin/class/edit/23), redirecting to _admin/class/view/23
* Viewing history (_admin/user/preferences/set/history_menu/on), redirected to _admin/content/view/full/2/2

From a functional perspective, all is working correctly. Nevertheless I'd prefer some more efficiency and some less hopping all over the place.

Working with version 3.4, thinking of doing it all over with 3.5 (advisable?)
