Problems with user roles

Hello,

I'm having a rough time changing user roles... something is messed up somewhere. When I go to the role section, and edit the user's (like, anonymous) policies, I get a listed of no roles! But they are set up in the system, because when I go to add one, at the end of the process I get a list of the ones that are setup... but it won't let me save the one I just made! Very frustrating because I can't add my new section to my web users. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I moved this installation from starting the database on my local computer (windows xp) and tranferred it to my linux dedicated server. Any help would be very appreciated, as I really love ezPublish and want to keep using it! Thank you so much in advance!

turn on debugging

check for errors

depending on error do some action like

1.) upgrade to newer version of ez
2.) fix db

I'm a little new at ezpublish.. how would I turn on debug mode and where does it write a log file? Thanks so much for your reply!

Okay, I figured out how to dump the debug.

Could someone take a look at it and see what the problem might be? I know it should be listing the roles there, but it's not. Any help would be very appreciated... thank you very much!
