Hello,
I am using version 3.7.3 to build a website.
I have different tabs in my design , and i chosen a Node to express the home tab , for the INDEX page design.

I changed the index page to directly be going to this node.

My Problem is that it asks the user that logs into my site to log in fist to be able to see this page.

THOUGH , the user is able to see the folder.tpl view with no restrictions , and this node is part of the content standard section which is allowed to be read by the anonymous user.

Can Any one help or guide me how to think to fix this problem
Thanks
John

Where did you create your node? in which folder and in which section? Also you can just grant anonymous user access to this exact node, by altering anonymous role. Just add policy: content/read/node(your_node) to his role..

hello Sergiy ,
The Node was created under the Section of Stunder as a children of Content, And Above that all, i granted access for user to this uniqu node, But it still asks user for logging in.

I Noticed that by removing the custom template for this node, and letting it to be viewed as the normal folder , The access denied message doesn't appear any more , but when I turn it back it turnes back the access denied problem for this node and all other nodes.

Knowing that the Anonymous user in this case is able to view the menu , and other contents that are been fetched and included in the view.
it is really strange
Wish to ear back soon
thanks

How did you create override? By sectionID or for specific node?
Overrides have nothing to do with permission system, so problem is somewhere else..

I have created a new override using NODE number from the following path:
design-> i Chose node/view/full-> then I chose site "news"
-> then I added a new template. and assigned this template to node 106.
and I put this override on the top of the override list by changing the priorities.

Where do you think the problem exists ?
thanks for your helping

Can you give me somehow access to your instalation?
If not turn on all debug, and then pack debug output and send to sp[at]ez[dot]no.
