Thanks mate, I will have a look.
Moreover can you please help me in finding the way to exclude a folder(in my case links folder) from the left menu. I am really struck here.

It may not be the best way to do it, but it works.

Mate could you please tell me how to remove the eZ publish from the page title. I know it is in the pagelayout.tpl template

Hi John,
In "content view" in admin area edit main folder and set new name "home", for example.

Thanks for your kind help. Sorted.
One more thing if you dont mind.
My news site url is http://www.(sitename).
When i click on any of the link in the site. "news" comes after the sitename in the site url like
http://www.(sitename)/news/"name of the link"
I want to remove the "news" from the url. Please help...
