Not allowing any anonymous users to see anything

Hi,
I am trying to not to allow anonymous users to view any of the materials on the site. Only the users that have accounts could log in and view the materials.
The problem is that whenever I change any roles for the anonymous users, the guest accounts change as well. That means, the policies of anonymous users are connected to guest accounts.
So how can I change only anonymous users' roles without changing guest accounts??
Could someone please help me.
I would really appreciate it :o)
Thanks.

I know this not answers your question, but the by far easiest way to achieve what you want is to edit site.ini (or more correctly - the override for the siteaccess)

[SiteAccessSettings]
RequireUserLogin=true

This is the method used for the admin-interface.

Thanks Roy,
I did what you said, but it is not showing anything except the first page content. Not even the images or the layout.
So I changed it back to how it was, but it is still the same, showing the same thing.
Is there something I have to do???
Thanks.

I'm sorry, Karmela, but I don't think I can figure out the problem. But if not even the pagelayout is showing the problem might be somewhere else than user-rights?
