When I publish a news article it doestn show up at my frontpage. I have to manually clear the cache every time. If I go into the news folder, the news show up.
Maybe my cache-settings are wrong, I am not sure what I should enable and disable..

try this: http://www.ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/faq/general/content_does_not_appear_in_admin_after_publish I had this same problem, and this fix worked for me.(BTW don't be fooled by the title of the page, this does not apply to admin interface only)

If you turn view caching off, and template cache on (unrelated, but for better performance), I suspect it will work for you.
I use the shuffle operator on one of our sites and it is disabled by the viewcache. I suspect the same thing is happening for you.
