I have changed menutype to DoubleTop for admin interface in menu.ini.append.php
but it is not showing any change on interface.
Can someone let me know what i am doing wrong ?

This setting has no effect on admin interface, it's meant for front end designs.

i found that change is not apply to user side as well.
anyway i want doubletop menu on admin interfacce , what is best way to achieve it ?

Hello Brijesh,
I suggest creating your own admin design which overrides the default design.
This way it would be simple to override and customize the admin of eZ Publish.
I know this is possible because I too have customized (heavily) the admin templates to meet my own needs by using a custom design for the admin.
