I am trying to run a site at my host space...

Things are going smooth but images are not showing at all
I have checked and all images are recreated and seem to be Ok (at the var directory)
But pages do not display them at all (images)!

A page where images cannot be seen is located at:
http://fecom.kunden.beastsassociated.de/index.php/esp/esp/productos/refrescos/ciego_montero/tukola

I am not quite sure on what kind of permissions I should give to my files at an EZpublish site, and I think this could be the issue here... (can someone please tell me what permissions should be set to the different directories)

The first this I thought was to activate the debug, but strangely I cannot setup my debug options at the administration site (very strange indeed), and do not know if this is related to my first problem....

Any clues....

The specific page you linked to did not have any img tags that where not part of the design except these:

<img src="file:///D|/MIS DOCUMENTOS MARCOS/TRABAJOS/FecomSA/Portales SA/ProyectoWWW/WWW_los_portales/imagenes/lineas/linea4.jpg" width="127" height="5" />
<img id="placeholder" src=""" alt="">

And the design images displayed fine in my browser.

About the ini problems, ezp needs write permission on settings/*, var/*, design/* (for overrides) and extension/* ( for installing extension from admin )

Images within the content part of the page are not shown... (the page design images appear ok)

Could it be permissions, I changed every files on the site to 755

I found this:
http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_6/installation/manual_installation/manual_configuration_of_ez_publish

Should :

$ cd /path/to/ez_publish
$ bin/modfix.sh

solve the problem?

thanks

Jorge,

You can chmod 777 <b>var</b> directory, clear the cache manually

rm -rf var/cache
rm -rf  var/site_extension/cache

by hand, create a new content object and add it a new image, if it doesn't show, then look at the logs files <b>var/log/error.log</b>,<b>var/log/warning.log</b>, and search for any error or warning related to this problem
