No images are shown when I load my page. I have also tried to upload a new image but same there - just an empty spot, no image.

I have installed ez publish with the kerneldemo data. I receive no obvious error messages.

My webhotell is using ImageMagick (which I managed to get to work in the candidate release by putting the full string into the "ConvertExecutable" /usr/local/bin/convert and leaving the ConvertPath emtpy.

I have tried everything with the release version:

ConvertPath=/usr/local/bin
ConvertExecutable=convert

and

ConvertPath=/usr/local/bin
ConvertExecutable=convert

and

ConvertPath=
ConvertExecutable=/usr/local/bin/convert

My full Image.ini file looks like this at the moment:

[ConverterSettings]
# Whether to use the external program 'convert' for converting or not
# convert can handle most image formats in existence but may not be available
UseConvert=true
# Whether to use GD for converting or not
# GD can handle JPEG and PNG's (GIF is generally not available due to patent issues)
# this means that if you disable GD you won't get support for lots of image formats
UseGD=false

[GDSettings]
# If set to true more advanced functionality will be available
# which is present in GD2. This requires GD2 to be complied in
# the PHP module.
HasGD2=false

[ShellSettings]
# Windows installations should specify the path since convert is also
# an application for converting filesystems.
ConvertPath=/usr/local/bin
ConvertExecutable=convert

//Anyone know what is wrong here?

Kindly,
Mikael Lindqvist

What does your [Rules] block say in image.ini?

Could you turn on debug and see what you get, for instance are there som errors/warnings with basedir restriction being in use?

Well, I'm a newbie when it comes to this business. However, I located the debug.ini file and changed everything to "enabled" (see copy at end) but I cannot find the output file. Where is it??

My entire image.ini file reads:

#?ini charset="iso-8859-1"?
# eZ publish configuration file for image handling
#
# NOTE: It is not recommended to edit this files directly, instead
# a file in override should be created for setting the
# values that is required for your site. Either create
# a file called settings/override/image.ini.append or
# settings/override/image.ini.append.php for more security
# in non-virtualhost modes (the .php file may already be present
# and can be used for this purpose).

[ConverterSettings]
# Whether to use the external program 'convert' for converting or not
# convert can handle most image formats in existence but may not be available
UseConvert=true

# The first is the source MIME-Type
# The second is the destination MIME-Type
# The third is the converter type,

you should enable debug in the site.ini file... the output is on the bottom of each page, not in a debug output file
