I'm a newbie to ezpublish and has been reading the documentation and forums about site styles and the availability of contributed site styles. I like to use them, how do you import them into ezpublish? I've been reading everywhere but nowhere can I find instructions on how to import them. I already downloaded a couple of the contributed site styles. But when I go into the admin page, where do I go?

I hope anyone here can show me the way.

Thank you.

Hi Charles,

1. Login to Admin interface
2. Go to Setup->Packages
3. Click "Import new package" and uload your site style file
4. Next go to Design->"Look and feel" and choose your new design from Sitestyle list
5. Click "Send for ..."
6. Refresh your user view if still nothing try to clear the cache in Setup

That`s all

Hi Lukasz,

I am getting error messages when I try to import some of the site styles notably clean_grey, white_coffee and red_flame.

The error message says:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in \ezpublish\ezpublish\kernel\classes\ezpackage.php on line 1479
Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below

Please help!

Thank you.

Hi,
Which version of eZ are you using?
The style you listed are for 3.5.0 and will trigger this kind of errors if imported to 3.5.1

You can install 3.5.0, then import the style and upgrade to 3.5.1. In my experiences it's working fine (only that the choosen style disapear from the design / Look & feel.

The other option is to use a style for 3.5.1 or if someone know how to overcome this import issue I will be glad to know...
