how to change/duplicate the email sended after an user registration?

hi all
i'd like to know a way to modify the email sended after the registration of a new user.
in particular i need it to know how the mail is sended in order to duplicate the sending process: probably i'll need a second registration form in my site.
while the first one is public (anonymous user will be able to register), the second will be used by administrators, and will send a mail to other adresses. so i need 2 separated registration forms (and two separated "registration processes")....
any hint?
