How can I print RSS content without nl (linebreaks)?

Iv gotten the RSS up and running.My only issue now is how to display i.
when I doo

{attribute_view_gui attribute=$:item.object.data_map.description}

I end up getting lots of linebreaks <br/> printet fron the source

I realy need to avoid this.

Iv tried

{$:item.object.data_map.description.content.xml_data}

BUt this prints out xml (hehe shocker)

anyone got a solution for me?
All helt would be very helpfull (lol)
