Hello again,

how can I hide article author and date of creation from being displayed on the final page

Override the default article.tpl by copying it to /design/yourdesign/override/templates/full/article.tpl and comment or delete following lines which display author and date:

        {section show=$node.object.data_map.author.content.is_empty|not()}
        <div class="attribute-byline">
        <p class="author">
             {attribute_view_gui attribute=$node.object.data_map.author}
        </p>
        <p class="date">
             {$node.object.published|l10n(date)}
        </p>
        </div>
        {/section}

Hi Alex!
The best way to figure out which template do some part is to turn on the template debug option by editing /settings/override/site.ini.append.php file.
Add the following lines into that file:

[TemplateSettings]
Debug=enabled

Don't forget to clear the cache after that.

tnx again Vjeran.
My problem wasn't even that much of the filename issue I guess, but rather where do I put the override file. I'm trying to figure out the filestructure for the override files but I don't seem to understand it.

I understand that it has to be somewhere within /design/my_site/override/templates/, but where do I place it from there forward. I'll go through the available documentation again and try to figure it out

Hi.
Template overrides are handled trough /settings/override/siteacces/mysite/override.ini.append.php, so check it.

The easiest way (or maybe not, I'm also a beginner ;-)) is to follow same directory structure as in /standard or /base dir. So, if you want to override
design/standard/templates/node/view/sitemap.tpl, copy it to the /design/mysite/templates/node/view/.
