Ok,

Here goes. eZ-Publish 3.9.3 has been downloaded and installed on my computer.
I have a webhosting account with full access and, I now want to go live to the internet with ez-publish. What do I do and how do I do it?

Which files would I load to the Server of my web provider? So, that I can have access to not only modify ez from my desktop but, also to have access to modify from the internet and/or remote location?

Any help that could be provided in regards to this matter, would be very very much appreciated.

Sincerely
Frusterated Beginner

P.S. I am in the process of learning Programming, Web Developement, Software Programming and Developement, and Game Design, Programming, and Developement. I am looking for a possible Mentor that would be interested in helping me along the way. Promotion of the Mentor would be in order and other Incentives. In trade for any mentoring service, I feel deserves promotion for there and my success.

Hi there pb,

don't know what made you so frustrated. Anyways, let me give you some advice.

First of all: read the docs. Yes, there actually are docs, and they're not bad at all. Try e.g. http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_9/installation/normal_installation to help you install ezpublish at your webprovider.

Then have a look at this http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_9/concepts_and_basics to get to the essence of building a ezpublish site.

Further more, try reading http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_9/templates which gives you what you need to start writing your own templates.

The override system typically can be a bit confusing, read about it here http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_9/templates/the_template_override_system

And most important, don't be frustrated. Keep smiling and post any questions you still may have here in the forum.

Cheers

Thank you highly for your reply to my post,

I will deffinatley go through the Documentation again. I was almost hoping to find some possible video tutorials covering this matter, this procedure is one of the Video Tutorials that ez does not cover. Oh well, that's okay.

Maybe I could design it for them, when I figure out how to do it for myself after reading.

Once again Felix www.Laate.no, thank you for your help.
