Hi,

With an eZP 4.2 installation I can't download PDF files when they are «related objects» of an article.

All works fine with related ODT or DOC objects (I can download them) but with PDF I get this error message:

Firefox ne peut trouver le fichier à l'adresse http://domain.org/content/download/220/1017/file/FormulaireAdhesion.pdf.

Help is welcome,

Pascal

Hi,
There is something really strange:
the PDF files are stored in:
/var/xxxxx/storage/original/application/
If the name of the file is «a2efae4481f40222442e90838a59be13» I can download it with this link:
http://domain.org//var/xxxxx/storage/original/application/a2efae4481f40222442e90838a59be13
but this one:
http://domain.org/var/xxxxx/storage/original/application/a2efae4481f40222442e90838a59be13
returns a «Module not found»
The difference between the 2 links is the double slash after domain.org

There no messages in the log files.

Hi,

The problem comes from this setting:

[SiteAccessSettings]
ForceVirtualHost=true

If I disable ForceVirtualHost, then the download of the PDF files works fine.
Someone has an idea about the relation between this setting and PDF handling ?
If I want that users can download PDF files, I have to remove the .pdf prefix of the file (before uploading it from my local machine).

Finally, in order that the PDF files can be downloaded, I need to put 3 slashes after domain.org.
I really don't understand what happens :-(

Great news that it works now.
And i can see you used the "mark as solved" feature, great !

Cheers Pascal,
