extended_attribute_filter

Any chance that documentation on this will be out soon? If not, does anybody have any good examples that use this? Tried to search but could not find any.

Trying to get a list with fetch where all the nodes has an attribute whose value is in another list:
fetch all nodes where value of attribute 'type_id' is in array('2', '3', '7', '6')
...and thought perhaps 'extended_attribute_filter' could do this?
