$dataMap = $yourContentObj->attribute( 'data_map' )
$enumAttribute = $dataMap[ 'your_enum_attribute_identifier' ];
$enumObj = $enumAttribute->attribute( 'content' );
//That is an array off selected enum values, if it is single select it will
// consist of one element
$enumobjectList = $enumObj->attribute( 'enumobject_list' );
$selectedEnumValue = $enumobjectList[0]->attribute( 'enumelement' );
