current node?

xiao jc	Wednesday 19 May 2004 1:39:08 am in pagelayout.tpl,I can't get the current node,i use {$node.name},but nothing cab be showed, can someone help me?thanks a lot, the ezpublish version is 3.3.4

xiao jc	Wednesday 19 May 2004 3:07:21 am after i deleted the cache files,the node_id can be showed,but if i refresh without deleting cache,it will not showed. anyone know what the problem is? thank:)
