cronjob result logging

I am running my cronjobs with the following command:
/usr/local/php4.3.6/bin/php -C runcronjobs.php --logfiles

But there do not appear to be any logs being created. At least not in the eZ Publish directory. Do I need to create the logfile myself or is there a parameter I'm missing to have the logfile created?
