clearcache not working

RW Wood	Friday 26 September 2003 10:44:21 am I'm seeing a number of messages on the forums that are cache related, and on a number of them, further checking indicates that the cache is not being cleared, at least on windoze machines. It may be related to where the site.ini files for the user and admin sites point. I think one of the things in the latest update was the addition of sub directories for cache files, based on which site style and database were being used. I changed the cache settings on both the user and the admin site to the root /var/cache directory. I don't know if it's a bug or just an oversite during the setup of the site. HTH, RWW

I still run into some cache problems with .ini files, but not enough to complain. -Shaun

I resolved all my problems with template , deleting manually file in /var/mysite/cache/override/ ,that cannot be canceled by admin section. Maybe a bug, maybe not, but if I change override, I must delete local cache else file .ini are not resolved.

Sounds like what you are talking about and it helped me with caching problems with 3.2. I still run into some cache problems with .ini files, but not enough to complain.
