Can anyone direct me to documentation or give some directions on how to change the default Admin interface Content tab and Frontpage links to point to a custom welcome page?
I assume you do it by setting something in an ini like the documentation directions show for doing the similar task for making a custom welcome page the default, I just can't find the right ini to edit.
Basically when I log in the custom welcome page shows up, but if I click the Content tab or the Frontpage link in the left menu they go to the orignal welcome page.
I'm using eZ Publish 3.4.1.

go through this tutorial. It is menu for beginners that start with eZ.
you find the admin templates in design/admin/*
you can always folllow the includes to find the template you need to modify.
also turn on debug mode and template debugging in site.ini
