Another day - another problem :-)

I have a news-folder that is under the news-section. I have overridden the node/view/line - template, but can't extrakt the articles. My code is:

{let children=fetch(content,list,hash(parent_node_id,$node.node_id,class_filter_type,include,class_filter_array,array('article')))}
{section name=Child loop=$children}
{node_view_gui view=line content_node=$Child:item}
<hr>
{/section}
{/let}

Why can't ez extract?

Hi Kjell,

It`s good to have enabled debug output (shows all errors) during development. You can enable debug output in site.ini.append.php.

[DebugSettings]
DebugOutput=enabled

Try clear the cache and check permissions.

Yes I have the debugOutput enabled, but there's no errors shown.

You have overridden the line view template, so you don't have to do a new fetch.

If you are trying to create a override template for a folder (since you want to fetch articles), you should override the node/view/full.tpl template in stead.

Thank you - got it working now :-)

BTW: Is there any description of the different standard templates - what they look like and produce?

You can get output of which templates are used by inserting the following in your site.ini.append:

[TemplateSettings]
Debug=enabled

Hope this helps :)

Yes thank you! Interesting :-D

Another thing: do I have to base the overrides on one type of templates to get the right results? I.E.: Do I have to use a "full template" if I want to show results of that type, or can I just override a "full template" and write my own "line template" as a override?

Everything's possible :)
